Figuring out the edition of your Pokemon card is all about the details! Look for a small symbol on the bottom right of the card - this could be anything from a little black star, a circle, or a diamond, which indicates the rarity. Besides rarity, there might be a set symbol or a number indicating the specific set or expansion pack it belongs to. First editions have a specific '1st Edition' stamp on them. If you're dealing with older cards, this is super important for collectors!

Honestly, unless you're really into collecting, the exact edition might not matter much. But yeah, checking for the '1st Edition' stamp or set symbols is the way to go.

most times the set symbol and the number on the card will tell u everything u need to know. if its got a first edition stamp tho, thats when u know u got something good

Simple tip: if it's got a '1st Edition' stamp, it's a first edition. No stamp, no first edition. Also, check the bottom of the card for tiny symbols that show the set it belongs to. Each set has a unique symbol.

If you're a Pokemon TCG player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is a pack of Pokemon cards, which you can win and get sent to you essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
