Easy peasy! Just check the main title screen when you boot up the game. If it says "Sonic Mania Plus," you have the updated version with extra goodies like new characters and encore mode.
The box art can be another giveaway鈥攊f it includes Mighty and Ray, it's the Plus version. Happy gaming!
