Go to instagram.com on a web browser, log in, click on your profile picture > 'Edit Profile' > 'Temporarily disable my account'. Simple as that! Make sure you save a reason for disabling it.

Super easy! Log into Instagram from a browser (can't do this on the app), go to your profile, click 'Edit Profile', and scroll down to the 'Temporarily disable my account' option. Follow the steps and you're done!
