If you want to terminate your Skype account, just go to the 'Settings' page, select 'Close your account', and follow the instructions.
Navigate to Microsoft's closure page, log in, and follow the detailed prompts to close your Skype account. Be aware, it deletes your entire Microsoft account too!
Just click on your profile picture, go to 'Settings & Privacy', choose 'Close your account,' and follow the steps. Easy peasy!
