From my experience, you can also use tools like Joy.cpl by typing it into the Run dialog (Win + R). Once there, select your controller and test away!

Plug in your Xbox 360 controller using a USB cable or wireless adapter and head over to the 'Devices and Printers' section in the Control Panel. Right-click on your controller icon, select 'Game controller settings,' and hit 'Properties.' You鈥檒l see a test tab鈥攑ress buttons and move sticks to see if everything works!

Just download Xbox 360 Accessories Software from Microsoft's site, plug in your controller, and use the program to test each button and joystick.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
