Keep your thumb on the screen and spin the ball before launching it. Aim slightly off-center and let it fly!
As someone who's caught hundreds of Pokémon, curveballs are my secret weapon! Spin the ball clockwise or counterclockwise and release it at an angle. You'll get the hang of it with time.
