How to Toggle Off Skirmish Mode in Total War: Warhammer 2
Just click on the unit card, and you'll see a little skirmish button that looks like a bow and arrow. Click that, and you're good to go!

Select the unit, then look at the bottom of the screen - there's a skirmish mode button. Click it to toggle off skirmish mode.
Hot take: Why would you even WANT to turn off skirmish mode? It's like asking your troops to stand still in a firefight!
I usually toggle off skirmish by selecting the unit and right-clicking the skirmish icon (the one with the bow and arrow) at the bottom of the screen. Works like a charm every time.
