How to trade games on Steam
TargetingDirt路7 months agoTrading games on Steam isn't exactly straightforward, since you can't trade games that you've already added to your library. However, you can trade Steam gifts. First, make sure you've got the Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled for at least 15 days. Then, to trade, go to your friend's profile, click 'More' and select 'Offer a Trade.' You can then add the game from your inventory that you want to trade. Just remember, both parties need to agree to the terms for the trade to go through!

Nah, you can't really 'trade' games on Steam like you swap trading cards. Once a game's in your library, it's yours. But, if you have an unopened game as a gift in your inventory, then yeah, you can trade that with someone on your friends list.
Actually, the trick is to plan ahead. If you think you might want to trade a game later, buy it as a gift and stash it in your inventory. That way, you can trade it later!
