You can't trade robux directly. Consider giving them a gift card instead. Easy peasy!
From my experience, groups are the way to go. Once I made a group, I could easily distribute robux to my buddies. Just remember, groups cost 100 robux to create.
In Roblox, you can't directly trade robux with friends, but you can use the Group feature. Create a group, invite your friend, then configure the group payouts to give them robux!
