From personal experience, the best way is to use the cloud save feature on your console. Did this once when I switched from PS4 to PS5, worked like a charm!
If you're moving between consoles of the same family (like PS4 to PS5), you can use the cloud save feature. For different families (like Xbox to PlayStation), you're out of luck!
