Just did this last week! Make sure both consoles are updated, and use an Ethernet cable if you want it to go faster. The transfer wizard in settings will guide you through!

Yo, super easy! Connect both PS5s to the same network, go to Settings > System > System Software > Data Transfer. Follow the on-screen instructions, and boom! Your data's transferred.

Use the cloud save feature with PlayStation Plus for an easy transfer! Upload everything to the cloud from the old console, then download it on the new PS5.

Forget all that, just redownload your games and save data from the cloud. It's way simpler than messing with cables and settings.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
