Transferring data from your PC to your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward! First, you'll need to connect your Steam Deck to your PC via a USB cable. Once connected, you can transfer files just like you would with any external drive. For game files, you can backup and transfer game installs through Steam by right-clicking the game in your Steam library, choosing 'Backup Game Files,' and then restoring those on your Steam Deck through the same menu. It's a bit like moving files around in your own digital backpack!

Just use a USB stick, honestly. Fast, simple, and you don't have to juggle cables or settings.

Make sure you're transferring compatible games! Not everything that runs on your PC will work flawlessly on the Steam Deck. Learned that the hard way!

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
