I used cloud storage with Xbox Live. Just upload your saves from the 360, and they’re ready to be downloaded on your new console. Worked like a charm for me!

Use a USB flash drive (must be at least 1GB)! Go to System Settings > Storage, then select your 360 hard drive and copy items to the USB.
