For Android users, it's nearly the same but through Google Play Games - ensure you're logged into the same Google Account on both devices. Don't forget to manually save your game in Fallout Shelter's settings menu before switching phones! Not all autosaves catch the latest progress.
Honestly, starting over might not be a bad thing. I transferred my data over and kinda missed the thrill of starting from scratch. But, if you must, cloud saves are the way to go.
Just email it to yourself, lol. But seriously, the cloud saves are your best friend.
