Transferring data from Xbox One to Series X is super easy! Use an external hard drive: Plug it into your Xbox One, transfer your games and data, then plug it into your Series X. Voilà! Alternatively, use the Network Transfer feature: Connect both consoles to the same network and follow the prompts in the settings menu.

I did this last week, and it was smooth sailing! First, I used the Network Transfer option – it’s in Settings -> System -> Backup & Transfer -> Network Transfer. Both consoles need to be on the same network. After that, I just followed the on-screen instructions, and everything moved over without a hitch.

Skip the external drive and go straight to Network Transfer, folks. It’s faster and easier.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
