The easiest way is to use the Network Transfer option. Connect both Xbox consoles to the same network, go to Settings > System > Backup & Transfer, and select Network Transfer. Follow the prompts and you’re good to go!

You can also back up your games to an external hard drive. Plug the drive into your old Xbox, transfer your games, then plug it into the new Xbox and transfer them back.

Hot take: Just re-download the games on your new Xbox if you have a fast internet connection. Way less hassle!

I've transferred games before using the Network Transfer method. It was super smooth and I didn’t have to re-download anything. Highly recommend!

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
