Easy peasy! Just install Steam on the new computer, log in with your account, and download the games you want from your library. Steam keeps all your games in the cloud, so you can access them from any PC where you log in. No need to manually transfer anything!

I mean, downloading them again is the easiest. Your saves and settings are cloud-saved, so you won't lose progress. Just re-download and chill.

Actually, if you've got a humongous game library and a not-so-speedy internet connection, you might want to physically transfer the files to save time. Just copy the game files from the SteamApps folder on your old PC to an external hard drive. Then, paste them into the SteamApps folder on your new PC. Open Steam, go to your library, click install on your game, and it should detect the existing files.

Honestly, just redownload them. Steam's servers are fast, and it saves the hassle of copying and potentially messing up file permissions.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
