Just use the Network Transfer feature. Both consoles need to be on the same network. Go to Settings > System > Backup & Transfer on your old console, then select Network Transfer. Your Series S should pick it up!

First, grab an external hard drive or SSD and connect it to your old Xbox. Use the option to copy/move games to the hard drive, then plug it into your Xbox Series S and transfer them over! Pretty smooth, right?

I just used the Xbox app. I selected the games I wanted and directly downloaded them to my Series S. It did take a while, but no extra hardware needed!

Why not just redownload your games from your library? It's easy and sometimes faster than messing with external drives.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
