Hands down, the simplest method is emailing the pictures to yourself and then accessing your email through the PS3's web browser to download them.

The best way is to use a USB flash drive. Plug the flash drive into your iPhone with an adaptor, transfer the pictures, then plug the flash drive into your PS3. Easy peasy!
