First, link your Pokemon GO account with Pokemon HOME. Then transfer your Pokemon to HOME. Finally, from HOME, you can transfer them to Pokemon Shield!

You gotta use Pokemon HOME! Sync your GO with HOME, then move the Pokemon from HOME into Shield. Easy peasy!

You have to use Pokemon HOME as a bridge between the two games. It takes a few steps, but it's totally worth it.
