As someone who's done it a bunch: move your Pokémon to Pokémon HOME on your Switch, then use the Pokémon HOME mobile app to finish the transfer to Pokémon GO. Smooth sailing after that!

You can't transfer directly from the Switch to Pokémon GO. Use Pokémon HOME as the middleman. Switch -> HOME -> GO. Simple!

Just use Pokémon HOME app on your mobile and Switch. Transfer to HOME first, then from HOME to Pokémon GO.

To transfer Pokémon from Pokémon Sword or Shield on the Switch to Pokémon GO, open the Pokémon HOME app on your Switch. Move them to Pokémon HOME, then use the Pokémon HOME mobile app to send them to GO. Easy peasy!

If you're a Pokemon GO! player looking for extra PokeCoins or other power-ups, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

Two of those prizes are the official App Store and Play Store gift cards, which you can win and use to get anything you want in Pokemon GO! essentially for free!

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
