Easiest way is by using the Data Transfer option in your PS5 settings. Connect both consoles to the same network, go to Settings > System > System Software > Data Transfer on the PS5, and follow the instructions. Easy peasy!

You can also use an external USB drive. On your PS4, go to Settings > Application Saved Data Management > Saved Data in System Storage > Copy to USB Storage Device. Then, plug that USB into your PS5 and copy the data over.

I just used the cloud! If you have PS Plus, upload your saves to the cloud from your PS4 and download them on your PS5. Simple and quick!

Cloud saves are the way to go. PS Plus subscribers can upload saves from PS4 and download them on PS5. Took me 5 minutes.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
