To transfer Splatoon 2 save data, you'll need to use the Save Data Cloud Backup feature that's available with the Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Just ensure both your original and new switches are connected to the internet, then back up the data from your old Switch and download it onto the new one. Easy peasy!

Honestly, the easiest way is to just play more Splatoon 2 on your new Switch and forget the old data. Fresh starts can be exhilarating!

Unfortunately, Splatoon 2 save data transfer isn't as simple as we'd like. You'll have to rely on Nintendo's Save Data Cloud Backup, so make sure you have that Nintendo Switch Online subscription ready.
