How to Transfer to Xbox Series X?
Easy peasy! Use the Xbox Network transfer option: Connect both consoles to the same network, then go to Settings > System > Backup & Transfer > Network Transfer on your Xbox One and mark the box to allow network transfer. Now, on your Xbox Series X, go to the same menu and select the Xbox One console. Voilà!

If cloud storage is your style, just make sure your saved games are on the cloud from your Xbox One. When you sign in to your Xbox Series X with the same account, your stuff will magically be there!
I did this last week! Just used the Xbox Network transfer and everything was smooth. Made sure both consoles were on the same Wi-Fi. Took a bit, but totally worth it!
Don’t overcomplicate it. Just use an external hard drive: Copy your games to the hard drive on your old console, then plug it into your new Series X and move the games over. Done and done.
