To start a Martian Invasion in Terraria, you gotta let the Martians spot you first! Just hang out in the outer two-thirds of the map, away from the center, and make sure you're above ground. Once a Martian Probe finds you and escapes, the invasion begins. It's like playing hide and seek, but with aliens!

Actually, all you need is patience. The Martian Probes appear at random, so just keep exploring the skies on the side of your world. Eventually, you鈥檒l bump into one. Remember, don't destroy it!

Just look for a Martian Probe in the space layer or high in the sky, but only in the outer parts of the map. Let it see you, then let it go. The screen will flash, and bam, Martians are coming to visit.

Pro tip: The Martian Madness event won't trigger if there's already a big event happening, so make sure your calendar's clear if you're planning an alien encounter.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
