Triggering a Solar Eclipse in Terraria is all about patience and a bit of luck, as it's an event that can naturally occur after you've defeated at least one mechanical boss (The Twins, The Destroyer, or Skeletron Prime). It happens randomly at the start of a day but if you're not into waiting, you can craft a Solar Tablet by combining 8 Solar Tablet Fragments at a Mythril or Orichalcum Anvil to summon the eclipse whenever you want. Just remember, it's only possible in hardmode!

Just use a Solar Tablet if you're impatient like me. Beats waiting around for chance to take its course.

Honestly, had more solar eclipses happen when I wasn't trying. Key is to beat a mech boss and then go about your business. It'll happen when you least expect it.

If you're a Terraria player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
