Believe it or not, it's all about rearranging the equation. If you can do basic algebra, you can turn any equation into slope-intercept form. I had to do this a lot in school and it's a handy skill!

Easy peasy! First, solve for y. Rearrange the equation to look like y = mx + b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept. Done and done!

Just solve for y; it鈥檚 that simple. Everything else goes to the right side.

Basically, just get all the other terms to the right side except y. If you have something like 2x + 3y = 6, subtract 2x from both sides and then divide by 3. That gets you y = -2/3 x + 2.
