Easy peasy! Go to your profile, tap the three lines in the top right corner, select Settings, then Privacy, then Activity Status, and toggle it off. Boom, you're a ninja!
Activity Status off = Privacy on! Go to your profile, hit the menu, then Settings > Privacy > Activity Status, and switch it off. Done and done.
