Go to the Settings menu, navigate to the Controller tab, and disable Aim Assist from there.

Head into the Settings, click the Gear icon, select the Controller tab, then turn off the 'Use Advanced Options' toggle and set Aim Assist to 0.

From my experience, disabling Aim Assist can be done in the Settings menu under the Controller options. Just toggle it off.
