Auto aim makes things too easy anyway. Just switch to Realistic battles and enjoy the challenge!

To turn off auto aim on PS4 in War Thunder, go to Options > Common > and then deselect 'Auto-Aim.'

From my experience, turning off auto aim can sharpen your skills. Just head to the battle modes options and pick Realistic or Simulator battles.
