Short answer: You can't. GTA 5 is pretty much built around its 'bad stuff'. That's like half the point of the game. If it's a big concern, might be worth checking out other games that are less about crime and more your speed.

GTA 5, like much of the Grand Theft Auto series, is renowned for its mature content. Unfortunately, there's no built-in way to 'turn off' the more mature content like violence or language as these elements are central to the game's narrative and gameplay. The best approach if you're trying to avoid certain content is to focus on non-violent activities within the game, like racing, exploring, or playing minigames.

I tried to make GTA 5 more family-friendly for my kid by avoiding certain missions and focusing on the less violent stuff like driving around and enjoying the scenery. It's not perfect, but it does help avoid some of the game's more graphic content.

If you're a Grand Theft Auto player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
