How to Turn Off Birthday on Facebook
From your profile, find the About section. Go to Contact and Basic Info, then hit Edit next to your birthday. Change the audience to 'Only Me' and you're golden. No one will know your birthday unless you tell them yourself.

Go to your profile, click About, then Contact and Basic Info. Under Basic Info, click Edit next to your birthday and select 'Only Me' in the menu to hide it from everyone else. Boom, no more birthday notifications!
In settings, just make sure the birthday visibility is set to 'Only Me'. Problem solved.
I did this last year! Just head over to your profile, click About, then Basic Info. Set the birthday visibility to 'Only Me' and no more unwanted birthday messages from random people.
