You can disable chat on Facebook by going to the settings in Messenger and switching off 'Active Status.' Boom, invisible mode activated!
Easy peasy! Just click on the gear icon in the chat sidebar and select "Turn Off Active Status". Then, pick the option that suits you best.
In the Messenger app, tap your profile picture, scroll down to 'Active Status,' and toggle it off. Done and done!
