'Everyone' tag settings can be tricky, but when I fiddled with the privacy settings under 'Timeline and Tagging', I found my sweet spot!
To turn off the 'Everyone' tag in Facebook, go to your account settings, then navigate to the privacy section, and adjust the settings for tagging to restrict it to 'Friends' or 'Only Me'. Easy peasy!
