Fielding can't be turned off entirely, but setting it to Auto will take care of most of the work for you. Check your gameplay settings.

Just head to the settings, go to 'Gameplay', then 'Fielding', and switch it to 'Auto'. Boom, done!

You can't completely turn off fielding in MLB The Show 22, but you can set it to auto. Go to Settings > Gameplay > Fielding and select Auto Fielding. Enjoy letting the AI do the heavy lifting!

You gotta tweak the fielding settings to auto in the gameplay menu, but no full fielding disable option exists. Sorry!
