Just disable them in the settings. It really boosts FPS on older rigs!

To turn off Godrays in Fallout 4, you'll want to dive into the game's settings. Go to the Options menu, then into the Video settings. Look for the 'Graphics' tab, and you'll find an option for Godrays. Simply set it to 'Off'. Remember, this might make your game look a bit different, but it can also improve performance on less powerful systems.

Honestly, I turned off Godrays and didn't notice much of a difference in the game's look, but my gaming laptop definitely appreciated it in terms of smoother gameplay. If you're chasing those extra frames per second, it's worth toggling off.

If you're a Fallout 4 player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
