Turning off passive mode in GTA V is simple! Just hold down the 'Select' button (for consoles) or the 'M' key (for PC) to bring up the Interaction Menu. Then, scroll down to 'Disable Passive Mode' and select it. You'll have to wait a few seconds before it's disabled, so make sure you're in a safe spot!

Just hit 'M' on your PC or the touchpad on PS4/PS5 and it's somewhere in the menu. Can't miss it.
