Turning off the performance overlay on your Steam Deck is pretty straightforward. Just hit the '...' button to bring up the Quick Access menu, then navigate to 'Performance' > 'Performance Overlay' and set it to 'Off'. Voila, no more overlay!

Just go to Settings, find the Performance tab, and there should be an option for the overlay. Toggle that bad boy off and you're golden.

Honestly, I kinda like the overlay, gives it that gamer feel, ya know? But yeah, if it's not your thing, just turn it off in the Performance settings.
