Turning off sirens in GTA 5 is pretty straightforward, just a tap away. If you're playing on console, press down the left stick (L3) while you're inside an emergency vehicle. If you're on PC, tapping 'E' should do the trick. Remember, it's all about quick taps; hold it down, and you might start a mission you weren't ready for!

lol just press L3 or E, depending on what you play on. Not rocket science.

Honestly, sometimes I feel like the game doesn't want me to turn off those darn sirens. Pressed L3 so many times only to start some random mission. But yeah, it's L3 on console and E on PC. Just a light tap should do it.
