Go to your Skype settings, navigate to 'Calling', then 'Call subtitles', and toggle off the options there. Easy peasy!
Not sure why you'd want to turn it off, but it's in settings under 'Calling'.
Disable the spoken translation by accessing Call subtitles within the settings, under the Calling section. Worked for me!
