Turning off the performance overlay on your Steam Deck is super easy! Just hold down the 'Steam' button to bring up the Quick Access menu, then navigate to 'Performance' and there you'll see the option to toggle the Performance Overlay on or off. It's a great way to declutter your screen, especially if you're not constantly monitoring your system's performance.

Pro tip from someone who was obsessed with frames per second: Turning off the performance overlay actually made me enjoy my games more. It's like removing the speedometer from your car; you stop obsessing over the numbers and start enjoying the ride.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
