Honestly, I just keep it on. Helps me know when the squad's getting online without having to text everyone. But yeah, Settings > Friends > Uncheck the notifications if it's really bugging you.

Seriously, just mute 'em. In Steam, go to Settings > Friends, and uncheck the notifications you don't want. Saves you from the endless pings when your buddy decides it's time to marathon every game in their library.

Easy peasy! Open Steam and click on 'Settings' from the dropdown menu in the top left. Head over to the 'Friends' tab, and you'll find a bunch of notification options. Just uncheck the box that says 'When any Friend joins a game' and voil脿, no more notifications about friends diving into games.

If you're a Steam player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Steam gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
