How to Turn Off Steam Input
AutocancellingWeek路7 months agoEasy peasy! Just go into your Steam settings, click on the 'Controller' tab, and then 'General Controller Settings'. You'll see a bunch of options there, just uncheck the box for 'Configure Controller' for the controller type you're using (like Xbox, PlayStation, etc.). This will turn off Steam Input for that controller. Remember, games may behave differently without Steam Input!

Just unplug it. Problem solved. ;)
I found that some games actually work better with Steam Input turned OFF. Had a smoother experience after I disabled it through the Controller settings in Steam. Just a heads up that it might actually improve gameplay for some titles!
