You can't really 'turn off' trophies on the PS5, but you can disable trophy notifications. Go to Settings > Notifications > Trophies and turn off 'Show on-screen notifications.' Easy peasy!

Nope, you can't turn off trophies on the PS5. But you can mute their notifications in the settings. You'll just have to ignore the trophies themselves.

From personal experience, you can soften the trophy bombardment by going to Settings > Notifications > Trophies and turning off the 'Show on-screen notifications' option.
