On most versions of Tetris, you'll find the sound settings in the main menu. Look for a speaker icon or something similar.
From my experience with Tetris on my phone, you usually find sound options in the pause menu or settings. Just slide or toggle to mute.
Mute your device if the game doesn't have an in-game option. Works like a charm!
