How to Turn Off VSync in Terraria
ImplementingPons路8 months agoTurning off VSync in Terraria is a breeze! Just dive into the settings menu from the main menu or pause screen, navigate to the 'Video' tab, and you should see the option to toggle VSync. Just click on it to turn it off. Keep in mind, though, turning off VSync might result in screen tearing, but it can reduce input lag for a smoother gameplay experience.

Honestly, just keep VSync on. Turning it off might give you a tiny bit of input lag improvement, but the screen tearing you'll get isn't worth it. Especially in a game as visually dynamic as Terraria.
If you're really into tweaking, and the in-game settings aren't cutting it for you, you might be able to force VSync off through your graphics card's control panel. This depends on your GPU manufacturer (NVIDIA, AMD, etc.). You'll find Terraria in the program settings list, and from there, you can usually override the application's VSync setting.
