Just press the Xbox button to open the guide, go to 'System', then 'Settings', 'Ease of Access', and finally 'Narrator'. Turn it off from there.

From personal experience, just say, 'Hey Cortana, turn off Narrator!' if you have voice commands set up. Life saver, trust me.

Easy peasy! Press and hold the Xbox button on your controller until the power menu pops up, then navigate to 'Turn off Narrator' and hit A. Done!

Go to Settings -> Ease of Access -> Narrator. Boom, it's that simple.

Honestly, you could just press and hold the Xbox button for a few seconds when the narrator is talking. A shortcut menu will appear, and you can turn it off right there! Super fast.

If you're a Xbox player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official Xbox gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
