Just go to the settings menu in Fortnite, then select the 'Account and Privacy' tab. Make sure 'Cross-Platform Play' is toggled on. Easy peasy!

I play on Xbox and had to turn on cross-platform for a squad with my buddies on PC and Switch. Just go to 'Settings' > 'Account and Privacy' and make sure 'Cross-Platform Play' is enabled. Smooth sailing from there!
