Just plug in your headset and make sure your Xbox settings aren't muting the mic by accident. Most of the time, it's not even an Apex problem, just a console setting.

Getting your mic to work on Apex Legends for Xbox is pretty simple! First, make sure your headset is properly plugged into your Xbox controller. Then, go to the Xbox dashboard > Settings > Device & accessories, and make sure your audio settings allow for voice chat. Next, boot up Apex Legends, head into the game settings, and under the Audio tab, check that 'Voice Chat' is enabled and the 'Open Mic' setting is on. That should do it, and you'll be coordinating with your squad in no time!

Honestly, I don't even bother with game chat. Everyone's on Discord these days.

If you're a Apex Legends player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

That includes gift cards from all of your favorite gaming platforms, like PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo, Steam and more... which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!
