On your PS5, head over to Settings > Sound > Microphone and make sure your input device is set to your headset. Then, check that the mic isn't muted using the mute button on the headset itself or through the Control Center on the PS5 home screen.

Hold the PS button on your controller, go to Control Center, select Sound, and ensure your mic isn't muted. Easy peasy!

If you're having trouble, double-check the headset's connection to the controller and ensure the firmware is updated.

Got a new PS5 headset? Make sure your mic is not muted by pressing the mute button; it's usually on the left earcup or in the in-line controls. You can also unmute it through the Control Center on your PS5.

If you're a PlayStation player, you need to download the Playbite app!

Playbite is like an arcade in your phone: you get to play all kinds of fun and simple games, compete with friends and others, and win cool prizes from all your favorite brands!

One of those prizes is the official PlayStation gift card, which you can win and use to get anything you want essentially for free!

In case you鈥檙e wondering, this is how it works:

Playbite makes money from (not super annoying) ads and (totally optional) in-app purchases. The app then uses that money to reward players like you with prizes!

Download Playbite for free, available on the App Store and Play Store!

The brands referenced on this page are not sponsors of the rewards or otherwise affiliated with this company.
